Grade Spelling Words / Seventh Grade Spelling Lists
Seventh graders are expected
to write well and one way to become more familiar with
words is by studying spelling. Although, computers
spell check documents, it is useful for children to know
how to spell for State Writing Exams or other essay
tests which are still given on paper. Studying
spelling also provides an excellent opportunity for
young adults to expand their vocabulary.

Your seventh grader will hear the word, see the word and be able to
type it in. In the practice segment, they will get three tries
to get the spelling word correct before they are shown the word and
asked to type it in. This allows every child the chance to
